2.09 Unemployment

This page includes unemployment data from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. A person age 16 and older who is jobless, looking for work, and available for work is considered unemployed. The unemployment rate is the percentage of all persons in the civilian labor force who are unemployed.
