3.12 Child Care Rates and Wages

This page includes data on from the local Child Care Resource & Referral organization on child care rates and wages. The average weekly group child care rate is the average cost of full-time licensed group child care per week and varies by age group. The average hourly child care teacher wage is the average earnings of licensed group pre-school child care teachers (not including assistant teachers) per hour. Both measures are based on information from a voluntary survey of licensed child care providers.

The infant rate is for children under age 1, the toddler rate is for children ages 1 and 2, and the preschool rate is for children ages 3 and 4.
